Latitude 34 Wine Co

WEBSITE
T

he name ‘Latitude 34 Wine Co’ reflects geographical location and pays tribute to the early maritime explorers and traders who passed by the Margaret River corner of the world centuries ago. The St Johns Brook is a significant vineyard of 37 hectares located in the northern heartland of the Margaret River wine region.

“Sourced from a small, single block of gravelly duplex soil in a single vineyard. Vivid, deep purple-crimson; has all the ingredients to develop for decades to come, with a superabundance of black fruits, pepper, licorice, quality oak and exemplary tannins.”

St Johns Brook is a mature vineyard established in 1998. The Blackwood Valley was pioneered in the 1800’s and early wine grape plantings in 1978. The Blackwood’s substantial plantings of 83 hectares over two vineyards makes it the largest grower in the Blackwood Valley region. The Optimus Range has been awarded an outstanding 96 points by James Halliday, and is one that you need to tuck away in your cellar for a special occasion.
