"In the winery, we use only natural processes of fermentation and maturation, minimising intervention to make wines that reflect the conditions specific to each vineyard and vintage”.
Michael founded Lonely Vineyard in 2008 in order to produce beautiful, individualistic wines from special sites in Eden Valley, South Australia. The warm, dry days and cold nights combined with the unique soils and microclimates of Eden Valley allow him to make wines of great finesse from his two special vineyards – Shiraz, planted in 1919 and Riesling, planted in 1940. Since then, he has added two exciting varietals of Italian heritage to his repertoire - Montepulciano and Arneis.
This unique, ultra-premium gin evokes the very essence of springtime in the vineyards, when the air is filled with fragrance of blossoming vine flowers.
It began in 1847 with a bold, satisfying taste that would make Indiana the rye center of the world.
Hugh Hamilton Wines exists to create exceptional wines, topics of conversation & new experiences. The Hamiltons have not missed a vintage in 180 years.
